Cheerleading is a sport!

31st May 2013, Russia has voted accepting two new members to join the organisation; the International Cheer Union (ICU) and Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) during the annual General Assembly of SportAccord which took place in Saint Petersburg.

The International Cheer Union became the 109th Member of SportAccord. ICU is also recognized as the world leading body of Cheer and the authority on all matters related to this sport.
