In last weekend's German Grand Prix in which a photographer was injured flywheel events, Formula One racing's governing body, the FIA, has announced the event marshals and team personnel currently in the pit lane immediately outside of any prohibition race and qualifying. Accredited media access will be restricted to the pit wall.
Nurburging event occurs, after the pit stop, Red Bull's Mark Webber racing wheels came off, but he made his way to the pit lane exit. Loose wheel strikes TV cameraman injured results. He is expected to fully recover.
To reduce the risk of similar accidents in the future, two rules changes, since the plan to be implemented in 2014. the time, the next one in 2013. A car stopped all team staff will be required to wear head protection, and in the race the pit lane speed limit will be reduced from one hundred km/h 80 km/h (except Melbourne, Monaco and Singapore, because the restrictions will trace configuration maintained at 60 km/h).
The FIA is also expecting a written report from Red Bull Racing which will be shared with other teams in order to help improve pit-lane safety.
